Long Pen In Torqoise Crush Acrylic

This is the third and last pen made in this four days long vacation between two ships. This blank is acrylic named torqoise crush. Made as a long pen but can be shortened by cutting off an end plug. Shown together with a Parker IM for size comparison. Hope you like the pen design.

Do anyone feel that the barrel should be shortened say 12 mm?

That does seem quite a long pen - though actually I would prefer a desk pen even longer in that material, another couple of centimetres and it would be a lovely pen for a calligrapher! It certainly makes the Parker look small.

Too many pens, too little time!

What a beautiful material that pen is made of! Is that why you made such a long pen from it?

But I would not think it necessary or even desirable to cut off material from the barrel. Especially since you have such a long section. (Does that prevent blurping?) I have a Ranga that seems somewhat similar in size, and it is a very comfortable pen. I would leave it as it is.

Thanks for both your inputs. You were right. Made this a large pen to make the material show better.
