Recommended Posts

The pen is used but is a 9/10 on condition all the paper is correct, and is being sold by a reputable dealer of the brand. The seller is taking bids on eBay so I would like to know a value because I would like to win. There are some suggestions tagged to the post from a website called PicClick.com. Does anyone know how legit there stats are. Any help is greatly appreciated

Check for sold items on eBay. It's a search option.

You can find out how much people actually paid for this pen in past eBay transactions.

Yea and the black and ruby stone Boheme's are going for middle $500's to low $600's and the sapphire are 800-1200he what I'm not trying to do there are 16 watchers and 13 days left on the auction and as of now 0 bids the pen is $460 buy it now or best offer. Of course I'm wanting to go much lower than 460 and worse case pay asking price but I also don't want to draw first blood and some get trigger happy and jack the price up past 460 . Because it doesn't make good sense to go higher in my opinion than 550 worst case 600 because I get get a brand new one from Montblanc for 720 so I just don't know which way to go

Fountain pen hospital is a great authorized dealer.

Bryant at Chatterley luxuries is also good to talk with.

eBay auctions sometimes turn into feeding frenzies and bidding wars...

Thanks I emailed Bryant, can I give him your name as the person who referred me to him?

Sure thing.

Tell him your friends at the fountain pen network did. Bryant is outstanding. He will treat you well.

Always better to buy from a specialist when new to the brand. eBay can be a good resource but you have to know what you are looking for.

Sounds on the high end. I would keep checking our marketplace and see what shows up. If I recall I bought my first MB, a Boheme noir for $250 off the marketplace here. I think you should be able to find one under $400 if you continue to look.
