Greetings and thank you Mr. Vaibhav. This makes two in a row (4c ED is awesome). My birthday present to me is as follows. :D

Form submitted:

Standard Bamboo Demonstrator

Polished finials

EF two tone

No clip

I have never used Bock nib. How is the EF? I hear springy, wet and more toward medium-fine. Is this true- did I make a mistake in choice?

Gryphon 1911...that's the Demonstrator I have and It's, by far, the best pen I've ever had. Not a lick of trouble since I've had it. Beautiful quality and awesome writer. I have the JOWO Broad (awesome)...but your Bock Nib should be even better.

That's great to know. I've quite a few JOWO nibs but no Bock. It will be good to get one and it is nice to know that it has the potential to be nicer!

Gryphon...if you ever have the opportunity, try the Bock Titanium nib. They sell the size #6 Bock Titanium at Karas Kustoms (for their Ink fountain pen) which should be able to be installed in your new Bamboo Demonstrator (a screw in nib). It's a very sweet nib.

The zeal flat end v rounded end picture seems flipped. 1-5 seem rounded and 6-10 are flat but the descriptions are switched.

Ordered 1 flat ended zeal, gold clip, EF nib dualtone, special rose red/mustard yellow ripple matte

Currently waiting for my 4C to arrive.

Don't really need another FP but it is hard to ignore this buy for ebonite with a Bock nib.

Hi any news

Al

Hi Iam sorry for late reply..

Currently in this group buy for model 8, the manufacturer is concentrating on ebonite only..

Maybe in future he might come up with demo model of the same..

I hope not Cross Foot, I like my nibs extra fine, the finer the better.

Hi Scribs. I'm not sure I want that fine. When I gain more experience we may have to debate this over a Pot of Lapsang Souchong. However, I trust it will have more character than the Jowo #5 EF on my Edison Pearlette. Love the pen but not too excited about the nib. I will stay the course and see; might even check out their TI nib.

Hey is there a blogpost to help me choose the nib? Noob here. sorry

If you're looking for info on the nib sizes, I'd suggest checking out the Nib Nook on Goulet Pens' website - the Karas Kustoms INK uses a standard Bock #6 steel nib, exactly the same as the nibs Ranga Pens are selling for this Group Buy.

A pot of Lapsang and talking about pens, sounds like a mighty fine idea :)

If it's character you're after Cross Foot, maybe saving for one of Jowo's solid gold nibs might be an idea for your Pearlette? I've not got an Edison myself, not yet, maybe one day...

Thanks for this Jamerelbe. I didn't have a clue which other pens might use Bock nibs to check out widths at the Goulet Nook. :)

One question - are the Bock nibs generic Bock nibs (i.e. those used by Kara Kustoms) or rebranded Bock nibs?
