Which Nib To Be Ground For Architect Point

Hi guys,

I have been trying to find the information I need but am having a hard time...

I am planning to get the next pen with #6 titanium nib ground to Architect point.

What I don't know is which nib should I start with to be ground to Architect point.

Can I use fine nib, or the nib should be broad (or other type) nib?

I am having a hard time finding photos of lineworks written by Architect point (fine, medium and broad).

If you have an example of your Architect nib lineworks, can you show me?

It would be even better if the lineworks are in printing/lettering.

Thank you!!

Dream, take one step at a time and achieve. :)

I know that Dan Smith can grind an EF nib to an architect point (he offered to do one for me), so I think you can do it with any pen. Can you ask the person who is doing the grinding to send you pictures of that show how wide the lines are for each nib?

Also, I've noticed that there are quite a few samples of nibs ground in the architect's point on the forum. Just put in the term "architect point" in the search box, and they will pop up.

Thank you for the reply!

There are samples in the forum but most of them are broad nibs and somehow I can't find them in lettering (like the way architects write). Am I not looking deep enough? :)

It is a good idea to ask who is going to provide the nib.

Once I decide on who to go to, I can ask for samples, but wanted to see if anyone here already hd some samples :)
