This ink is only available in Fritzschimpf's store located in Tubingen, Germany. You can also find it on their website.

It retails for 4.95e and comes in a 30ml bottle.

Dry time: 5-10s

Water resistance: Low

 

I went to the website and I could not locate the above ink..

 

Is it an in house brand?

 

All I could locate were the normal brands...Pelikan, Mont Blanc etc...

 

Also, I thought I had been to the site previously and it was also in English..?

I don't know about the site being in English though, I bought it from the store.

 

I like that. Is it more pink than burgundy?

That might be the scan. I can see some pink, but also some burgundy. Definitely check out the link above, the swab is pretty much spot on.

The ink is cheap, but having it sent to you in the US is expensive. They asked for 30 euros to send it.

 

I guess it's not much more than ordering Jentle Grenade, which is about the same color (though I do really like Fitzrot).

 

Oster Asterquiza Rot is somewhat close, too.

I have this ink as it was sent as a "freebie" with a pen I ordered a couple of years ago. It's a lovely colour, thanks for reminding me.

It looks like a great ink...interesting enough that I was interested in purchasing some.

 

Communicated with Fritzschimpf and the issue is the shipping cost....they only offer one shipping option and it cost 30 euros...

 

From Germany many vendors offer Registered Mail to the USA...requires a signature for delivery...and it typically costs 10 euros.

 

Fritzschimpf was unwilling to go that route..I even offered to take the risk of loss...but no go.

 

Oh well, Diamine Oxblood looks very very similar...

OhhOhhh! They need to post swatches. Bulk buys make the shipping more affordable. And I like that color.

I was gifted this ink bottle in 2016 when I bought some Inks, Pen cases & a Mont Blanc Pen from Fritzschkrimpf shop in Tübingen.

This establishment is there from just after the German Unification of 1871 happened, I suppose.
