Hi, Yes these nibs do work so much better on quality paper, here is a sample written on a sheet of Cross A5 ring binder paper, which is a pleasure to use, the nib seems to suit it so well.

I found the reason for the dots on the undersite of the nibs in the promo clip for the new Aion.
