Noodler's Bernanke Black

Sorry the picture is a little smudgy, cell camera has seen better days...

I tried a sample of Noodler's Bernanke Black, hoping the fast drying might make it appealing to my left handed SO. Unfortunately, even in a fine nib, it didn't really dry fast enough for her.

I wasn't particularly impressed. Then again, being a bit of a noob, it might be more me than the ink.

If you can't read my writing, pen was a Pilot Metropolitan with fine nib, paper in the picture was Canson mixed media, at 160g.

If I did this wrong, let me know.

I bought a sample of Bernanke Black to bake off against some of the other Noodler's blacks and also was not impressed. It has feathering and bleedthrough problems, probably as a result of it being a "fast absorbency" ink. And on certain papers (like the highly coated stuff like Clairefontaine and Rhodia), Heart of Darkness dried faster.
