Looks interesting. I look forward to seeing it in person to see if I like the minimalist lines in the metal.

I wonder if Z50-style nibs will fit this pen.

According to owners they do.

I tend to agree. Looks a bit bulky and clumsy.

Your 2000 looks nice n' shiney.

Is that persona made of makrolon? Is is lighter than other personas/imporiums?

Thanks for the comparison, Christof. Very useful. The Aion looks bigger than I expected but not unpleasing, especially at the business end.

Do you have a photo comparing unposted sizes?

My 2000 is one of the very first generation and has seen lost of use in his life.

Yes, the barrel of my Persona is Makrolon and is much lighter. It's the only Persona which is usuable for me.

That's cool.

This may be heresy....

But I like the Imporium/Persona more than the 2000.

Nonetheless...

I love your understated pens.

Please bring 'em on! :P

Me too, which is why I have an Improium, but presently do not have a 2K (I will in time)

I had an immediate negative reaction to the 2K when I handled one in person at a pen show. Just capping/uncapping it was enough to turn me off.

And at the same show, I came across a used Persona, a model I was unfamiliar with at the time but is very appealing. It had a cosmetically defective cap and was on sale for $175. I passed on it and now I regret it.
