Aurora 98 Ballpoint Refills

Hi everyone, I just came into the possession of an Aurora 98 ballpoint pen. Unfortunately, it came with an empty mine and I have been having a hard time since then finding a refill for it. Do you guys here have any suggestions on how and where to find a refill? It can also be one from a third-party. There is AURORA - Dokumental - INOX and some unidentifiable numbers written on it. It is approximately 9.5 cm/3.74 inches long. I've attached some photos showing the pen and the refill. Thanks in advance!

When I needed a refill for an 88P ballpoint I both researched sites and wrote to LCdC, with whom I had been doing some recent business, to ask them. The conclusion from research was a Schmidt 1020 or 1011 and from LCdC a Schmidt 1011. I bought that.

It came with "Aurora" written on the side, and a long thin blue plastic piece at the end, quite unlike the old refill at that end. I lined up the old and new refills and snipped the plastic to make them the same length. I now have a working 88P ballpoint.

In case you're still looking, Schneider Express 225 refills also work. Picked up some on Amazon last month and they work fine in my 98 and Magellano BPs

So, I bought those refills and snapped a bit from the end part to make it as long as the original one. They fit perfectly but the click mechanism doesn't work on them.

Does it work with the old refill?

I did not encounter this problem, by the way.

Then for the moment I am puzzled. Is it evidently binding anywhere? The new refill is thicker. If lengths are the same and the spring firm then it should be functioning.
