The Waterman Gentleman is correctly a twist action ballpoint pen

Thanks Chrissy

So how can it be missing a cap when the clip is fixed and existing,I am getting more confused, lol.I did come across an article that explained there was a boxed set fountain and ballpoint done for Air France, will have to find it.

I didn't mention before that it is stamped with French silver and gold weasel,a little extravagant for Air France, thanks for info

There is no separate cap. What you have is the complete pen.

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell. Looks like a Gentleman, Targa and NoNonsense.

Thanks,So now I am wondering why with others I am looking at state solid silver and no mention of gold as this is clearly stamped with a weavel which in France denotes gold. Maybe I am hoping I have something a little more special lol,but this is just normal because its made ij France ?

ok made a big boo boo lol weevil is silver other mark Paris now I am getting there lol I did mention I was a newbee lol Thank you.

Wateman n'utiliserait pas un mauvais poinçon, c'est trop contrôlé en France ...

Waterman won't use the wrong stamp ... it's controlled ...

One pen roll, two pen rolls, three pen rolls ... So many pen rolls ! Do you want one ?

my tiny shop is open and you can have a closer look on my website to see my cotton (and sometimes silk) OOAK penrolls.

Greetings and welcome!

with a charge from over several millennia of continuing the art of recording man's life.

Hello and welcome from Cape Town, South Africa.

To sit at one's table on a sunny morning, with four clear hours of uninterruptible security, plenty of nice white paper, and a [fountain] pen - that is true happiness!

Bonjour Sonia! bienvenue tardive de ma part... au réseau FPN!

je suis québécois, j'ai vécu à Paris quelques années... ça me manque beaucoup!

I'm now in Berkeley, California! Looking forward to reading about your experience with pens and inks!

François
