The question about the authenticity of this pen from dhanvantari has also been asked and answered on the other Montblanc 144 Vermeil thread.  meiers is correct, it's a copy.

There are quite a few things that would suggest this is a fake. Please return it and get a refund - and report the seller to ebay - use the proper refund system so you're fully covered for postage and so ebay can see the problem. He may not have been aware himself that it wasn't real, but that's not good enough.

The presence of the converter makes me doubt the authenticity of the pen.
