I've got some of that.

An fpn member sent me some and I've never opened it.

Why is it so expensive?

And how expensive is it?

I only have a couple of ml, but I'll be keeping it for "special" although it doesn't look particularly nice does it.

For the Europe Challenge I wanted to represent two of my favorite places - France with a J.Herbin ink, and London, England with the Tower Bridge. Also, I love Cacao du Bresil!

Ha Ha. I did that one for May the Force.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Lots of European inks to chose from (and my stormtrooper Sheaffer for last week, one of many I have missed)

From a former Dutch colony, probably appropriately, a Dutch ink: Akkerman Bekakt Haags...

Normally this color would be indicative of the dominant color in the landscape this time of year, but we're having some rain this week and it's amazing how much green there still is...

I like that color a lot! I love those pretty reddish-browns.

Ik vind die kleur heel leuk! Ik houd van die mooie rode-bruins. [Correct?]

Toen ik het pas had vond ik die rood-bruine inkt heel mooi.

When I'd just got it I thought that reddish brown ink very beautiful.

Maar nu dat ik bekeerd ben tot blauw weet ik het eigenlijk niet meer...

But now that I've been converted to blue I don't really know anymore...

So I for one am glad I figured out a way to make the ink flow back into the main part of the bottle, so it won't dry out in the inkwell...

And I may come back to it - I do find color likings to shift.

If I were you, I'd put this ink to week #24!

🤔 I think I may be able to find something else for that one 🙂
