Never had a colour which my ex-colleagues would instantly recognize. But used to sign with basic blues. Then got into Diamine Oxblood. That evolved to dark blues like Diamine blue velvet. Right now I am on either GvFC moss green or Sailor Kiwa-guro as both inks should be able to resist time.

Pelikan: m600 (BB); Rotring ArtPen (1,9mm); Rotring Rive; Cult Pens Mini (the original silver version), Waterman Carene (ultramarine F)

An interesting question... never red, never green, never yellow but sometimes Herbin Perle noire and usually Sailor Jentle Ink blue black... because the printer pints black and I want my signature to directly appear original.

[...] Right now it's Pilot blue-black, as I have a large bottle of it. 350 milliliters of inky goodness, and I've only used about 90. Anyone sees that color, they automatically know it's me.

I think I really - as a blue black aficionado - should try out the Pilot blue-black...

Purple!

Like Sailor Kobe Sannomiya Panse, Diamine Imperial Purple, Lamy Dark Lilac... Obviously I use different colors as well, but purple is my favorite color.

I switch pens and ink a lot. If I had to pick one color, it would be Sailor Shigure for sure

My signature color shakes out to Waterman Bleu Sérénité on one end and Sailor Jentle Blue/Platinum Blue-Black/Pilot Blue-Black on the other with the epicenter somewhere around Akkerman#4.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.

Noodler's Midway Blue. It's been the one ink I pretty much always have in a pen, and the ink I most often use when writing things others will see. Though this may be changing; Oster Tranquility is lately becoming my go-to everyday ink.

Elegant and professional. I should probably follow your fine example. ;)

Ouf! Today Rouge hématite (Herbin) becaus I had forgotten my pen case at home and my pen for corrections was the only available pen... A very interesting experience... I'll try to abstain from it... because it didn't feel good.

I have too many favorite colors, but right now (at the office) I'm using Platinum Blue-Black in an Izumo with a fine nib. I really do prefer it to the Pilot, although it's very hard to find right now except in cartridges.

People I work with would probably recognize that whatever I have written is with an unusual color than most pens produce, more so than any signature color. The ink that i am always satisfied with coming back to is Diamine Umber. The ink that I hope gets the most notice is Diamine Orange....

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper!
