What Significant Documents Have You Signed Using A Fountain Pen?

Certain... job related application. I don't remember what pen I used to sign it; most likely Pelikan m600 or Kaweco Al-Sport. I do however remember the consequences.

Is that so? What about users of Diamine Oxblood and similar inks?

Hi Aeba,

What ink color did you use to fill out/sign the application? Oxblood?

When you're just trying to get your foot in the door... it's best to put your best foot forward. ;)

In other words... be conservative and conventional... businesses have their reputations to protect and will shy away from applicants whom they fear will send a prospectus to a potential client marked in red or purple ink. :o

Upper-echelon executives are given more latitude on these things... eccentricities and going "outside the box" is not only permissible... but expected! But until you get your foot in the door and have your feet firmly planted on the rungs of the ladder... be conservative and play it safe.

Use blue-black... it shows clever originality while still being conservative and business-like.

Just my presumptive two-cents... take it or leave it. Be well and enjoy life. :)

Mellow greetings.

Hah. There's a good chance that it was Oxblood, but I think that it was Dia. majestic blue. Or sapphire blue. They didn't care, and my application went through. But the application was the other way; I can post to FPN any hour I feel like. On the other hand, I can post to FPN any hour I feel like.

Anyway, I thank you for the recommendation on keeping to more conservative colours when signing important stuff

You do not have a right to post. You do not have a right to a lawyer. Do you understands these rights you do not have?

Kaweco Supra (titanium B), Al-Sport (steel BB).

Parker: Sonnet (dimonite); Frontier GT; 51 (gray); Vacumatic (amber).

Pelikan: m600 (BB); Rotring ArtPen (1,9mm); Rotring Rive; Cult Pens Mini (the original silver version), Waterman Carene (ultramarine F)
