I usually like these bricky, less shouty reds, but this one has so much shading that it gets a little busy on the page when trying to read big blocks of text written in it.

 

Which defeats the purpose of why I buy subtler shades of red like this.

Loving this red! Especially if it is what people say that it's more orange-red than Oku-Yama's purple-red. I've always liked Oku-Yama, but feel that it would be better if it was a more neutral-red.

From the top of my head.. I will say this is more "purpluish" than Akane. Akane has more orange, this has more pink.. But Yeah, I can compare. I just need to get home.

 

 

The sheen is very Akane'ish.

Naotora was inspired by the historical figure. The release of a Taiga drama may have prompted its creation but I think it is an ink made for their new boutique in Omotesando along with Omotesando Blue.
