Shinola Notebooks

What's the verdict on Shinola notebooks? I saw a display for them at my local Barnes & Noble. Are they more fountain pen friendly than Moleskine?

Since I see that no one has posted anything to my question, I decided to dig a little deeper on FPN and found two reviews to date about this Detroit-based company which is more well known for its watches and bicycles than its notebooks.

The reviews appear to have somewhat different conclusions. Was wondering if anyone has any personal recent experience to help provide a more current perspective.

They're both comparable. Moleskine looks better. Shinola is just alittle more FP friendly.
