Use the brightest, most vibrant, most retina-searing ink you have.

 

Bonus points for writing a letter with it to Amberlea!

 

As usual, don't forget to share with us your choice of ink, your writing, drawing, doodling or anything with the ink in this thread. You can take a photo, make a scan, or even better, write letters and CRV reviews (what is a CRV?) and mail them to the many ink pals here. You are welcome to check back on this thread even when we've gone past this week.

Oh, a class of inks that speaks to me, as well! Of all the inks I have, my current favorite retina-searer is Sailor IRORI.

On the front of the card, is Titian's "Portrait of a Man in a RED Cap" (1510) from the astounding Frick Collection in New York (I was there last week and saw it in person!). [i had to crop the photo due to the unpleasant glare on the shiny cardstock surface...]

The street I grew up on, is named after that particular artist. Titian. The other street in the neighborhood was named after an artist too. You might have heard of him - DaVinci. As in Leonardo.

LOVE, love, love that Fire Opal color. Will have to investigate where to find an ink so wonderful!

I went with Solferino. Here it looks purple, but it isn't.
