Anyone Tried A Wing Sung 698 Demonstrator?

Another very happy WS 698 owner. I first got the Pale Teal 698 (the ad said Blue) and I was so smitten with it I bought the demonstrator.

 

Use the first one I bought every day!

It looks great but how do you use the piston mechanism when you have plastic transparent beads in the barrel??

Or you are using a syringe to fill it up like an eye dropper?

Thanks, the section unscrews from the barrel, so you can easily fill the pen "like an eyedropper" like you said. I personally use a syringe with a blunt needle for that purpose. I just think the transparent beads make the pen a little different plus they limit the amount of air in the barrel. Adding the orthodontic wax around the periphery of the nib and at the end of the air groove prevents minor ink droplets from forming inside the cap when I shake the pen a lot, like when I move it around in my briefcase. For me, I had to do this, but other pen users may not have had the same minor problem.

 

For me, WS 698 is a very reliable piston-filled demonstrator pen with a very smooth nib, especially considering the price, it is definitely a winner.!!
