Cool - we use the same ink in this pen. :)

That makes 3 of us! :)

Actually I got the idea from you, which I think in turn inspired Cyrille.

This is gorgeous Cyrille! The outer casing of the box is nice, though I wish the main box would also be a bit more ostentatious. Very nice pen, Though I like this particular pen, I am not too crazy with the metal part, but do share your thoughts about the pen if you find it slippery when you write with it and if you could use it for a longer period of time. I might purchase this instead of the "Le Grand" version just because of the overall design of the cap and barrel and the nib, but as I plan to use it as my daily writer, it might be feasible for me to get the "Le Grand" as the grip section is made of resin. I do hope you give us an update.

As I already had the rollerball of the Heritage R&N Solitaire Serpent 1906 I decided to buy the fountain pen to have the pair. So now some photo of the fountain pen:

Now a little writing sample with Emerald ink and the M nib that I will probably exchanged by a BB nib.

~ Cyrille:

What a wonderful set of images of your Heritage Rouge et Noir Solitaire Serpent M.

The handwriting sample in Montblanc Emerald shows the ink color very well.

If you decide to exchange the M nib for a BB nib, more photos will be welcomed.

The photos of the special packaging are pleasing. I've never seen such packaging.

With many views of the pen, it's possible to appreciate it's unique design.

Thank you for this photo post and handwriting sample.

Cyrille,

I saw and held that pen a while back when I purchased my 149 90th anniversary, it's a lovely pen, a bit heavy but solid pen, the nib is the best feature in my opinion, I love my Rouge et Noir Coral, I have it in Oblique Broad and writes very well, gorgeous looking pen that I plan to give to my daughter when she's old enough.

Anyway, congrats! your pen collection is getting larger and definitely more interesting every time!

Cheers,

Luis A.

Congratulations!

Is this the specific pen which is sometimes conpared with Agatha Christie? Please forgive my ignorance. I am still learning the complexities of stunning Montblanc pens.

Cyrille. What wonderful pens you have in your stable. Amazing. Thank you so much for sharing such great photographs with us. I'm particularly fond of the Le Petit Prince solitaire nib. It's is quite eye catching.
