The last pen has been delivered this morning and these are the first photos of the "giant" Heritage 1914 Coral 333. I haven't yet inked it so I have no writing examples and first writing impressions. It will come in the next hours or tomorrow.

Some photos of the box set:

C’est MAGNIFIQUE!

Thank you so much for this extraordinary series of images.

Your generosity in photographing the packaging and a comparison with a 149 is greatly appreciated.

The collection of images is a lovely presentation of the beauty of the Coral 1914.

Such an immense nib. May it serve you well in all types of writing.

The variety of Coral 1914 images, all photographed in clear light, is a special gift for the Vernal Equinox.

With Much Appreciation,

Tom K.

@Cyrille

You've made my day! What beautiful pens you have, and it seems we share similar tastes. Your Hemingway is gorgeous, to me that is like the 'Holy Grail' when it comes to WE, much like the Medici in its POA counterpart.

You're going to LOVE writing with the Heritage 1914. Speaking from experience (I've used the Black L.E. 1,000), the Nib is something else. The smoothness and flexibility, not to mention the sheer size of it! A true pleasure.

Congrats on a wonderful collection. You've made me wanna go home and ink a pen.

Congratulations.

I think the star is crystal though, not MOP. The black 1000 1914 uses an MOP star of the same size.

whaaaa what a Goliath of a pen. Beautiful :)

Im guessing writing with it will feel funky...it still looks pretty big compared to the 149

On the MB website it is written as this: Both versions will be crowned with the Montblanc emblem in snow-white mother-of-pearl on the cap top. But I think the 333 star is protected by cristal saphir on it.

I think it sure looks a lot different on the coral than the black.

Also, MB's website ha's proven inaccurate time and again so I trust it less than experience and product specifications literature.

It is still stunning though!

They both appear to be MOP, although they DO look a lot different when compared side by side. Maybe it has something to do with the crystal sapphire finish, and/or the quality of the MOP itself? Something to chew on:

I stand corrected. I found an independent reference I trust who says it is MOP with a sapphire crystal on top for the 333 so it does look quite different.

Thanks MontblancLover for the extra photos.

Glad I could be of help! After reading the comments I was also curious so had to go check it out for myself.

Your images of your lovely new Coral Heritage 1914 are bewitching.

I've returned several times throughout the day to enjoy them.

The difference in size between the 149 Montblanc snow star and the immense 1914 snow star is substantial. Great photo!

I like the elegant design of the open snow star on the reverse side of the clip. First that I's ever noticed that.

Your pen is a prime number — 307 — which is very special.

Again, many thanks for your warm generosity in sharing a trove of images for us to enjoy with you.

At first I thought it was MB 145 next to Heritage. So shocked it was 149. The Heritage is a beast :) how does it write?:P
