As I'm still waiting my local reseller receives my Victor Hugo 1831, I bought the Le Petit Prince 2020 in its edition LeGrand Solitaire to complete my series with the LeGrand Solitaire (Doué) of 2018 and 2019. So this year the pen is made in wood (MB doesn't precise which wood it is, just it is a colored wood) in Burgundy.

So some photos of the pens to have a better idea of the pen. It is a medium nib but I think I will ask to exchange it with a B nib so I will have a M for the 2018 one, BB for the 2019 and B for the one of 2020.

The nib of this edition is a 18K gold nib bi-color with a rose engraved on it. I prefer the engraving of the 14K nib with the Petit Prince but have to deal with the rose

The pen weighs 69,3g with the cap and 42,5g without. The length is 14,8cm closed with the cap and the max width is 1,44cm for the barrel, 1,69cm on the cap and 1,13cm for the section.

The pen writes pretty well and is well balanced. Wood pen is pretty rate so it is always cool and the burgundy color is nice but the wood quality is pretty lower than the Purdey but it is not the same price, even if I found this pen pretty expensive.

Amazing scrollwork on the nib. I wish more nibs would come with specialty designs (conid, danitiro, etc.). Thanks for posting pictures of your collection!

Great photographs!

I always like to see a nib with a bit of ink splashed on it, rather than shiny and unused.

And the wood looks extraordinary!
