Hello everybody,

I'm happy to join this forum and community of passionate of fountain pens and in this forum MB's pens. I have some of them and I will present them in more details in future posts illustrated by some photos.

I have started few years ago by some classical Meisterstuck pens (ballpoint and mechanical pencils) and after that I decided to give me a treat by buying a 149 I wanted for long time. When they have been released my wife and me we have bought the 3 pens of JFK special edition as we really appreciate the character and we found the pens nice too.

At the end of last year I had the occasion to buy the fountain pen of Leonardo LE 3000 and I also bought the JFK LE 1917 rollerball (sorry :notworthy1: ) . At the beginning of this year I bought the POA Steinway 888 I wanted since the first time I saw the photo of it and I completed the JFK LE 1917 collection with the fountain pen and the ballpoint. Now I'm waiting that my reseller receives the Miles Davis LE fountain pen and I will try to save some money for the futur release of this year that could be great if the rumors are right for the great character 2017 and the writer 2017...

So now I'm starting to have a nice collection of MB that I like very much from my point of view :)

To the pleasure to have great exchanges on the subject in the future.

Welcome. Share photos, thoughts, writing samples, and whatever else you like. It is always interesting to hear about pens from those passionate about them, instead of just facts and glossy marketing photos.

Sounds like the MB bug has bitten you. Enjoy the disease. You are among many fellow "sufferers" here.

Welcome to FPN! Which nibs do you have in your fountain pens? The variety they offer can add a whole new dimension to your collection!

In the future I will take photo and mainly macro of some details of the pens but I'm not very good with the macro and my EOS 450D... So to begin I will post some photos taken with my iPhone.

I hope you will enjoy the photos and the quality is not too bad. It was the first limited edition from Montblanc I wanted to buy and it was the first I bought when I had the money for. I like very much the Skeleton version of the Atelier Privé 74 edition but not in my means.

No I haven't yet inked it. I will see the new inks that should be released by MB to choose one to try it. We don't see it correctly on the photo but it is 786/3000.
