Pilot Con-70

Yo Pilot lovers,

It's my understanding that Pilot is quite jealous wrt its pen parts. Thus I've bought quite a few of Pilot's cheapest pens for cannibalization purposes. Yet, doing so just to get a Con-70 converter is not a very rational proposition, considering the prices of the pens that come equipped with it.

So, good news is that I managed to find a couple of places that sell the Con-70 today, (This is not a good news/bad news thing, so no bad news.)

Goldspot sells the metal (OEM) Con-70s for 10.50 +shipping. I bought a couple more things besides the converter including a bottle of ink and my shipping was $3.95.

Pen Chalet sells the plastic Con-70s for $9.20, and Goulet for $11.00. Out of the bunch I've only ever dealt with Goulet. Their cust. service is superb and shipping so fast it's about like they're in the next county.

FWIW, and Standard disclaimers apply--I have no pecuniary interest in any of these companies.

Hi Escribo,

If you ever want anymore... I got the metal version of the Con-70 for $7.19 off of Amazon. :)

Check out http://www.jstationery.com/fountain-pen/fountain-pen-converter

for the CON 70 @ $9.50 and other Pilot and Platinum converters as well as a very limited supply of FPs. Not much in the way of inks, either.

They are selling Pilot 78Gs for $13.95. AND, free shipping starts at $20.00!

I have dealt with them several time over the last few years and been very happy with the service and products.

No affiliation, etc.
