Question About The Visconti Hs

Hello people =) this is my first post and sadly a not pleasant one, and here it comes, i just bought my visconti homo sapiens dark age, last week, first day worked (or it seem to) properly, afterwards when i uncaped it i got ink leak, cleaned the nib, cleaned the pen, the feed and everything and tried to use it again, but it again got some leak, ive read post about people getting leak issues with this fountain pen, however most of them (not to say all ive read) have leak from the union of the nib unit to the pen, my leakage is from the feed.. i clean the feed again and i get more leak just after writing a little bit, wonder if theres a way to fix it instead of sending it back to warranty, thanks in advance and great forum :D!

Could it be the ink you're using?

I'm using montblanc JFK navy blue, do you think could it be the issue?

Also, what did you clean it with? Any dish soap left behind breaks the surface tension on the ink and makes a mess. Just checking! :eureka:

Sounds like air is getting into the system where it shouldn't. I haven't had a problem with mine, so I'll pass so the more experienced can step in.

Do you think so?? or could it be that the ink its causing some issues?? :s i might try changing the ink to another mb or a noodler's to see what happens

I've had some Herbin inks (non glitter) leak from Carenes, but MB inks are usually well behaved. Noodlers are so unpredictable and variable in behavior that I avoid them when diagnosing pen problems.
