Howdy From Atlanta / Marietta Ga

Hey everyone- nice to be here! I have been perusing this site for a long time but wanted to introduce myself officially.

I'm here in cobb county- seems to be a bit of a pen desert but there's always Ebay & the Atlanta show...

I have a few good Pelikans (vintage & new- my favorite pen is a 2013 tortoise 800), an older Omas Extra lucens, & a smattering of vintage user-grade Parkers. Looking to add a Montblanc Jules Verne or Kafka to the collection the next few months

Glad to be a part of this great community =) I can't even count how many times I have found an answer to a question that I have had by digging around here!

Thanks to all of you guys for your enthusiasm for -and dedication to- this hobby!

Welcome to our little corner of the universe from a pen user in San Diego. You had to mention the tortoise M800 didn't you ;)

(Edited to make sure you understood that my comment was one of envy, pure and simple and NOT sarcasm.)

Greetings!

:W2FPN:

...The history, culture and sophistication; the rich, aesthetic beauty; the indulgent, ritualistic sensations of unscrewing the cap and filling from a bottle of ink; the ambient scratch of the ink-stained nib on fine paper; A noble instrument, descendant from a line of ever-refined tools, and the luster of writing,
with a charge from over several millennia of continuing the art of recording man's life.
