Kaweco All Sport Blue

Are Kaweco still making the al sport in blue? They don't show it on their website.

It would be nice if they did them in some brighter colours orange, red, etc instead of 50 shades of grey.

All three versions of the blue AL Sport are still displayed on the Kaweco website - the light blue, matte blue and stonewash blue - so I am not sure what you mean by your post, Lugworm.

As far as I can tell, Kaweco is still making the pens in blue and a quick search shows that all three blue versions of the AL Sport are available here in the USA from various vendors (I only checked Jet Pens and Pen Chalet) and that the light blue and stonewash blue versions, at least, are available at Cult Pens, to name just one European vendor.

If you mean the regular blue AL Sport, yes it is being discontinued. Once all the current inventory is gone, that's it.

I would say if you really want one to get it. There are still some available in the distribution channels.

Sorry to hear that they will be discontinuing at least one of their blue AL Sport pens. I think I like the one they are discontinuing the best - that would figure - but my first priority is to get the Brass Sport, so I may be out of luck. :D Hope you are able to get the pen you want, Lugworm.

(Off topic - I was trying to go to your website, Dave, perhaps wrongly assuming that that was a link in your signature, but clicking on it just brings me back to this thread, lol. Not sure if the problem is on my end or on yours, but I thought I would let you know that the link isn't working, at least, not for me!)

Holly,

Thanks for the heads up on this. I don't know when it stopped working.

I partially fixed it for now.

That's surprising that they would be discontinuing the blue AlSport. It seems like a popular color. I even have one.

Thanks. My problem is I'm not sure what I want. The blue all sport was a strong contender.

Now have I mastered the use of quotes? Probably not.

lol - well, go more expensive and get the Brass Sport instead. :P

I think your attempt to quote my post was missing some brackets, but the software on this forum will not allow me to show the correct method - grrrrr, it ends up giving me the blank quote box shown below, and will not let me edit and delete it from the post. Frustrating!

Of course, the easiest thing to do on FPN is just hit the "Quote and Reply" button under the post you want to quote, it will automatically put the quote in your reply.

Kristian, you need to keep the vital code within the square brackets intact. Viz:

Sorry to hear when any blue pen is given the chop, although personally I went for the stonewashed blue - too OCD to face scratching it myself!

That's weird. When I click quote I know get a proper box like above.

The blue AL-Sport, blue classic and blue chess have all been discontinued formquite some time.

There may be retailers with some stock and for those who really want one, best to get one as soon as they can.

As formthe brighter colors, there is now the AC-Sport in bright green and in orange
