given how cheap the pens are, it's quite likely it was made from your recycled trash your local city recycling depot sold to China Or recycled trash collected from the recycling depots in China. (the chinese term for these depots is the same term they use for recalls, so I don't exactly know how to translate it properly since these are actually work like the deposit return depots but they buy trash deemed worthy of being salvaged for other purposes for pennies on the dollar per kg,ie cardboard,glass-includes broken glass which has a cheaper price than non chipped glass bottles, old rags, etcs)
