Beautiful!

It is also my current goal of collecting those four M101N pens (and any future ones they release), as well as every nib size in each color (rhodium and gold). But if I may ask, you mentioned waiting on one more? Which one would that be?

Thank you. It's M101N Lizard Jubilee.

Beautiful!

And I saw the auction in which you won the one that will complete the series... Jubilee? That one is stunning! Please, post some pictures when it arrives.

Congrats!

As for me, last week I added a Chronoswiss. It's now inked with MB Irish green (currently using the M nib): great combo.

Thanks & congrats to you too. I comtemplated of getting that Chronoswiss pen. Good catch.

Will post it once I receive the Jubilee pen. From UPS website, it should be tomorrow as today is Labour Day holiday.

I am sure glad that you didn't go for the Chronoswiss :D .

Do you use the M101Ns or do you keep them new?

M300 green stripe suppose to arrive tomorrow.

It arrived & has been rinsed out. Waiting for it to dry to fill it with ink. It really is small. I think I will have to post it in order to use it.

I received a Pelikan 625 Aubergine today with a bold nib -- new in box. I have been looking for this pen for a while and finally came across one. Truly beautiful. Now I need to decide on a Pelikan Edelstein ink to pair with it.

Interesting to note that this is my first Pelikan purchase in many years. When I first began my journey with fountain pens, nearly 20 years ago, Pelikans were an early inspiration (starting with a M600). Somewhere along the way I moved onto other brands. This Aubergine is a nice reintroduction to the Pelikan world.

I almost did. Thank God I won the Jubilee pen. ;p

So far I only use the M101N green tortoise. Others are still in mint condition.

I bought this pen several months ago but with a fine nib. They are a really nice pen & I am glad to have purchased it despite the price.

Red M800 with F nib, after a long, long search. It joins its siblings in green, blue, tortoise & Stresemann.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Glenn.

old & new dreams

33604427394_4cef9d8470_c.jpg

the tortoise 400NN, with an OB nib, in the foreground, arrived about a week ago. the small blue pelikan stand arrived around the same time. the tortoise 400, with a fine flexy nib, has been here a few months and the green 140, with a medium flexy nib, slightly longer. the white pelikan stand has been here a couple of weeks, but the the 120, with a medium italic nib (I think it's medium), resting firmly in its beak has been with me for about 36 years (one of its predecessors rests somewhere on the bottom of Lake Michigan (lesson learned: don't carry a good pen in your shirt pocket while sailing) -- and another bit the dust at the hands of a spoiled rich kid with whom I attended grad school). the sign is a new addition. birds, take wing.
