Hmmm, not bad but I'd never call it a cobalt blue, comparing it with other cobalt blues. But your very broad nib brings out something good about it... like a blue-black but with a dash of cobalt and teal...

While the ink looks quite interesting and quite nice, it doesn't look like a cobalt blue paint. And since the pigment cobalt blue (PB28) was only synthesized in 1802, and the term in English for that kind of color from 1777, the 17th century Dutch masters could never have used it.

Agreed with Lapis -- it isn't what I'd call cobalt blue because of the teal undertone. On the other hand, it's not a horrible-looking color (but it does remind me of Diamine Indigo). Just not one I don't already have in another ink....
