I may have to resist this one... (I am saying, may...)

the model 5 Ranga is a nice pen, but a big one!

I don't have very big hands, nonetheless the Ranga bamboo standard size for example, is still a good size for me.

The Ranga 5 viceversa is really on the verge of huge...

 

This is my 5c (the rounded end version) which I bought in a previous group buy.

The colour is mottled brown, a very nice earth colour with black irregular patterns.

The finish is polished, and obviously no clip.

I have the CC version, I dare not think the amout of ink this could hold if used as ED...I have not tried, I was afraid to need to use a full bottle!

 

Like most Rangas in ebonite it's relatively light and very well balanced. Better not try to post it unless you want too poke one of your eyes...

I have a jowo B nib fitted to it which is very smooth.

The model 5 however tends to be slightly too big for me (my preferred size in the Rangas is model 3), I cannot use it for long writing sessions and the size of my handwriting tends to be bigger when I use it! I use it for signatures mostly.

Still it's a fascinating pen.

And I am sure appreciated by those with larger hands.

Here it's next to a 3c olive ripple bakul, you can guess the size especially if you compare the caps...
