Here are a few of recently finished pens in our pen studio.. I hope you like...

 

 

Plunger mechanism up to 1.7ml of ink. AA Resin and German elforyn. 24k plated rings, clip and plunger rod. JoWo #6 Nib unit.

French vintage celluloid and SEM Ebonite material.. 24k gold plated custom/handmade cap band and clip. JoWo #6 nib. Convertor and cartridge available.

Exotic bubinga wood and indian molted ebonite. Brass metal ring and roll stopper. Jowo #6 Nib, eyedropper and cartridge available.

Finish on wood is oil finish for aobut 20 coats in a week, then carnouba wax.

All of them are very impressive, but the first one is gorgeous. :wub: I love the fact that you change your design every time...

 

If I may ask, I wonder :

- how you can flush plated rings. Maybe you plate them afterwards?

- what is the thickness of respectively the wood and AA (?) in the cap of the last one.

Thank you Pierre.. Among these, the most expensive comission was the first one ;)

 

I do plate the rings, then mount them on the pen.. ı use epoxy and collets to plug them. Precision is a must in this technique.. I work like a watchmaker ;)

The inner housing of the cap is na AA resin but just acetal :) Acetal is more reliable then acrylic in staining and it is not as brittle as AA Resin. The wall thicness of the inner part is about 0.5mm :))

Nice designs. I like the idea of a band of body celluloid in the cap.
