Partial Baby Bottom?

You've added a beautiful pen to your collection. I wish it wrote well.

Here's some thoughts since the pen has trouble after you lift your hand from the page...

The Kawecos I've tried have all written rather dry, which I like, but they also tend to dry out quickly. Could be nib be drying out while you're thinking?

A lot of folks have trouble moving to F or EF, which need a lighter touch. Is the nib a finer size than you're used to writing with?

Do you have to find the right angle to get it to write well? Or does the pen write a bit scratchy in any particular direction?

Do you have to press to get the pen to write?

It can be wise to send a pen to a repair person - a lot of folks overfix their pens and create new problems. The more specific you can be, the more likely the person can reproduce the problem and fix it.
