Disclaimer: the intent of this review isn't to further stoke the Diamine/Akkerman debate. My impression is that this is rebottled Tyrian Purple, but as I say in the review, that doesn't bother me in the least, since I like that ink and love this Akkerman bottle. Anyway, on the the review:

The bottle is nice and I like Tyrian Purple. So... I guess I like this one too :)

That was basically my feeling too :)

I like it too but Diamine is so much cheaper that equivalent Akkerman inks, even with the nice bottle, are daylight robbery.

For 1 euro you can get 8.6/10ml of Diamine ink or 4/5ml (depending on the size of the bottles) of Akkermans.

Not keen on paying for the most expensive ink bottle ever.

Nice review and writing sample. I was going to get this one but went for Ruisdaels Stormachtig Blauw and Emerald Dou's instead. I might get it after all...

This ink reminds me of Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses, can anyone confirm?

My thought exactly—thankfully, LKP is much less smeary than BSIAR...
