Ginza Gold Sepia is by far my favorite - top 5 ink overall for me.

Others that I don't want to be without:

#18 Sannomiya Pansy

#21 Taisan-ji Yellow

#31 Kaigan Stone Grey

#34 Sorakuen Tea Green

#44 Sumaura Seaside Blue

#45 Hachibuse Silhouette Green

#51 Kano-cho Midnight

Very nice ones that I have enjoyed, and would like to own someday, but are "nice to have" status:

#3 Kyu-Kyoryuchi Sepia

#19 Minatogawa Lime

#27 Kounan Maroon

#39 Renga

#46 Nagisa Museum Grey

#62 Nunobiki Lavender

#63 Higashi Yuenchi Torch Orange

There are still many more that I would like to try out. These are at the very top of my want-to-try-list:

#1 Rokko Green

#6 Bordeaux

#9 Suma Purple

#37 Minatojima Island Blue

#38 Kitanosaka Night Blue

#49 Kitano Olive Green

#57 Himeajisai

#69 Kikusui Biotope Green

I only have 3 Kobe - Kana-cho, of course, but I was lucky enough to get the LE van Gogh set, Dark Green and Dark Blue, both outstanding colors.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I am onto my second bottle of #49, Kitano Olive, which isn't what I would call olive but a lovely drab green nonetheless. I have several other greens, and they're all lovely, but #49 is in constant use.

I upgraded my beloved Herbin Rouille D'Ancre to Kobe #54, which is close to a match but a touch more ocher. Constantly in two pens, a broad and a 1.5 stub for uncial.

Taisanji yellow met my Duke fude and the two have never parted since. A yellow you can write with (that doesn't lean brown)!

Just received samples of two browns, #3 and #40. Good grief, both are stunning. #40 Sumiyoshi is a Taupe that is almost grey, tending green (close to Sailor Manyo Shirakashi, but the other side of the green/brown line). #3 is just glorious in both color and properties, a rich violet chocolate!

Meaning to try #62, but the camel's back is quite weighed down already!

Not only my favorite Kobe ink, but my favorite ink overall, is #9 Suma Purple.

And one of my few non-purple inks is #21 Taisanji Yellow, although it took me some time to find a pen that would make it practical for writing.

#14 Maya Lapis.

Still one of my favorites.

I also love Lidthi Jay which I think may be Kingdom Note.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
