Seitz Kreuznach Tundra Green

Forget Montblanc Miles Davis. THIS is the real rinse water.

Official pics

From the bottle and the official swab you'd think it's a pretty murky green:

Splash

The only place where this ink looks decent enough is in the splash.

Sample

I mean, seriously, why would I prefer this ink to a rinse water? Mind you, I'm using a very wet pen.

I included a writing sample of a 2B pencil, with light pressure, which is still darker than this "ink".

However, this ink has a surprisingly good water resistance.

Comparison

Collaborator: Amberlea. In case you didn't notice this ink, it's at the bottom right corner.

Miscellaneous

Using a folded pen here. It's basically splashing ink on paper. Thank you very much I can finally see the colour.

. . . . . . I really rather like it in a MB Jonathan Swift kind of way

Thanks Lgsoltek for bringing this to my attention. I would not have considered it before but this may now become an order with Slate Grey

I've never used Jonathan Swift but i've seen some scans of it. I did indeed think about Jonathan Swift when I first wrote with this ink, but finally decided it's really too pale.

Anyone with Jonathan Swift would like to do some CRV?

Amber has sent me a CRV with Jonathan Swift on it. Would you like me to forward that sheet onto you?

That'd be nice! Or you can just compare it with your bottle of Tundra when you get it. :D

I need to check whether there's Jonathan Swift among the (numerous) sheets she sent me.

I warned you it was as weak as dirty ditchwater :-) :-)

I have J Swift as well as Tundra G, if you want to see both together. I can send you a CRV or small sample of Swift?

I'd love that. Thanks Migo! (Maybe just the CRV... I'm not too fond of the colour of Swift and I think it's probably better not waste the precious ink on someone like me who doesn't appreciate it...)

I'm not a fan of Swift either. It belongs to my partner.

I'll post a CRV off to you early next week - it'll be fun :-)

Be careful - I might pass my Tundra Green onto you, like I did the Slimymander ;-)
