Yeah, I wore plastic pocket protectors for decades. I don't have a clue where I got them from. Tommy

Thanks @tommym, I saw quite a few of them when I was at Purdue University back when slide rules were part of the look. My partner might sue for divorce if I wore one. She already warned me about my bow ties. :)

And thanks @inkstainedruth for the Amodex suggestion. I have some handy next to the detergent. I had mixed results with it. Yes, elbow grease was essential, as was catching it in time. I think a lot depends on the ink too.

Don't let me get started on the memory of a day when a lovely bottle of some lovely blue ink from Birmingham pens flipped off my desk and created a puddle on white carpet. That was not a fun weekend. I was on my knees all weekend. Used Amodex and the wet vac quite a few times.

Have a good writing weekend. Keep the controlled leak on the page ;)

Yeah, my bow ties are stored in a small cardboard box out in the garden shed next to the weed killers.

I liked wearing bow-ties when I worked as a librarian or bookseller. Sometimes wearing a tie just seems a bit more professional... but in Hawai'i we never wear them perhaps except commencement or in the service industry. Now ties have a worse rap with a certain former president with his long red or blue ties. Oh well.

Hope the garden is going well. I enjoyed gardening at first, but then realized that I was mostly successful at raising weeds. Living in a condo, I don't mind weed whacking :)

Thank you. It has that Sheaffer-like feed. I made a comparison post between this old version and the newer Jumbo version in this thread:

even Deccan can't recreate this masterpiece today. The Woodex 39 used to be a good substitute but even that has been killed by the tweaks to its design.

Totally agree. I feel they should have stuck with the eye dropper. And the Deccan mp has a straight writing section instead of the hour glass on 39. I hope woodex start offering their eye dropper version

Thanks. The Clip is also of better quality than my Woodex 39, which has already started to turn yellowish.
