Those acrylics that Fosfor used are like looking at the swirling clouds of a gaseous planet like those in our solar system.

Wow, that's quite a collection! and yes, they're all very beautiful. I love his silver rings, and the clip also works really well on those...

ETA my three are all wood, and include the very first Islander sold: in Rosewood.

I've got one in saldalwood, and the third one from a tree local to Aruba from my parents' garden.

Thank you for the kind words. Your pens are quite lovely. The wait list is more than two years. However, I may have to order more Islanders in wood rather than acrylic!

I made two changes to "up" the India content of the pens. 1st, I purchased nibs from Ambitious and had them shipped to Fosfor for use in my batch of pens. The picture attached shows Islanders with 40mm nibs in chrome and gold. 2nd, I created finial caps with "FOSFOR Made in India" plated in silver, gold and rose gold.

Your pens are lovely, and I especially love the fact you had Ambitious nibs put on them.

I suppose they're all eyedropper-filled? not an option with mine...

At the moment I don't think I'd like to join the queue for another Fosfor pen, but I will definitely keep yours in mind when I get ready to order my next Fosfor...

Actually, they are all standard K5 cartridge converters. I haven't had much luck with eyedropper pens [leaking seals and burping challenges]. I keep hoping that they will expand their operation to reduce the wait time.

I love the simplicity of the eyedropper design, and have generally had good luck with them. Also, I found this morning that cartridge/converter pens aren't necessarily immune to blurping and leaking troubles, when my Abhimanyu leaked into the barrel and all over the converter... while all my Ranga eyedroppers behave impeccably.

If you find Fosfor expands their operation, please let us know, I'd love a colorful Islander like the ones you show...

I am using this Airmail 58C eyedropper pen, It is Fine nib, smooth writing experience.

There is one issue i.e. ink leaking problem while writing few lines. Overall this pen is good and it replaced my Pilot Metropolitan M pen.

I've had the same problem with my airmail 71JT when I purchased it new, when I inquired to Mr. Subramanyam about the issue, It simply turned out to be the way I was filling the pen as I didn't prime the feed. This image below shows the correct way of filling an eyedropper pen. Credits to @hari317 for this piece of information. After filling the pen with the steps shown, the pen writes well without any issues or leaks.

Perhaps following these steps while filling your pen might solve the issue. Cheers and Happy Writing

Aravind

Inked up one of my most favorite Guider Small Ebonite with Krishna After Dark. The pen is an ED and the stock nib is replaced with Wality Fine.

Stunning pen and great review! Did you order the kanwrite nib unit separately from Kanwrite? Which one? Did you need to ask Ranga to customize the feed threads, and did you buy it without the nib? Thanks

Thanks very much. Since it's an ED pen it just comes with an ebonite feed and nib. Ranga provides many options of nibs or nib units, I asked for Kanwrite nib..

I think you can take it without nib or nib unit, tell them to make the section Jowo threded and buy Kanwrite Jowo threaded nib unit separately and install, that's all.

Nice Nauka 👍. I used to buy medium nibs all the time, but now have started varying towards other nibs as well.

Ya, they are one of my favourites...

Soft push cap pens are ergonomic to carry around...

I inked up lots of guider pens today after a long time.
