Today's pen : Click Renaissance -"Michelangelo ", with stock medium nib. Ink is Diamine Grey. I fall in love with this particular model on its first look. It feels good in hand, nib is smooth and writes very well.

I recieved an order of Ranga dip pens. Very impressed on first try. The only potential deficit, depending on the values of the customer, is that the ebonite feeds don't hold much ink and that frequent dipping is still necessary. But I don't mind at this point.

A dip pen that needs dipping?

Yes, it's a bit of a 21st century complaint, but there are some feeds which dipped can write for at least half of a page. That isn't the case with these Ranga feeds. In fact, the amount of writing I get per dip is only a few words more than with a steel dip nib without feed.

But it's okay, it's a dip pen after all.

Next time you can ask them to make a dip pen handle for you threaded for a pelikan or esterbrook nib unit. One dip should last you a paragraph. Good luck.

Good suggestion. I can also try a penbbs feed, which usually slips in well in the eyedropper pens.

Inked up one of my most favorite Guider Small Ebonite with Krishna After Dark. The pen is an ED and the stock nib is replaced with Wality Fine.

That's a lovely guider pen and a nice ink as well.

I have several guiders, all of them are Jumbo or oversized ones though.  Hope to share them here later.

I received my order of Islander pens from Fosfor last month. I write with one of these daily.

Wow, that's quite a collection! and yes, they're all very beautiful. I love his silver rings, and the clip also works really well on those...

ETA my three are all wood, and include the very first Islander sold: in Rosewood.

I've got one in saldalwood, and the third one from a tree local to Aruba from my parents' garden.
