So this is the Ranga 8B I was talking about before the break...

which now has an Omas 14k B nib in it.

(I was forgetting that the pen is not an ED, it's a CC, so actually what I did was pull out the Bock steel nib and feed, and swap in the Omas nib)

My Ranga 9B Giant arrived today.  Boy is it a big pen, but absolutely splendid.  Fits my hand like a glove and the broad nib is splendidly smooth.  Shown with a P45 for a quick size comparison (apologies for the shoddy phone pics - the lighting makes it appear a brighter red, but it is more a burgundy colour).

That's a whopper! Love the colour though :)

(I wonder what it would take to update the title of this thread ;))

Here is another nice Ranga, which I got recently and is already back into rotation.

It's their newer model Abhimanyu. It's a rather interesting pen (besides being very pretty in my opinion).

It's a shorter size than usual (Rangas tend to be big pens) and the cap unscrews in 3/4 turn. For those who don't appreciate too many turns to uncap (sort of typical in ebonite pens) it's an interesting change.
Premium ebonite grey-cream with Bock nib and Schmidt converter.

Lovely pen. Ranga does nice work.

Speaking of the number of turns to remove the cap, I recently received a Giant Bamboo. It only takes 1/2 turn to remove the cap.

I have several Rangas and was pleasantly surprised at this development.

My 9B Giant is certainly less than a full turn.

I think they've noted there's an interest in that feature... :)

Mind you, on an eyedropper I would still prefer to have a couple of turns..
