Still got the 180's and Cicelé Sonnet with 18k broad nib inked. Never really seem to take these out of service.

+ 1 to what mitto said. Love the color on that Televisor.

Nothing quite so exotic for me today: a yellow Vector (F nib) with Platinum Classic Lavender Black IG ink.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I haven't used my Vectors for almost 10-15 years now. But your posts about them are making me think I should rectify the situation. :)

Would be looking for my Vectors now to select a few to put in rotation. How about the good ol' Camouflage ones? Or the red and burgundy ones with metal caps? Or may be the flighters both with metal barrel threads and plastic inner barrel shells.

Red Sonnet with 18K broad italic nib. Possibly the only one of mine with enough flow to not dry up.

P-51 Special, medium nib, teal. Barely used before I got it, superb now. Monteverde Horizon Blue ink...a keeper.

Today it is a Parker 51 Special. Nib is M or wider. Currently has Waterman Serenity Blue.

I browse the thread and am in awe at the amazing writing instruments on display. The only Parker I own is my father's old Parker 51, a common Mk I burgundy fountain pen that writes well but just slightly too wet (on Iroshizuku ink). I like the feel, look, and history of the Parker 51 and will try to acquire one on eBay.

I suggest that you also browse the classifieds here on FPN. I have enjoyed buying and selling here much more than on Ebay. I also love the 51s

A brand new (uninked, boxed with all paraphernalia) dark grey Parker 45 Arrow (all plastic body) chrome trim with a lovely wet springy 14k M nib. Ink is Scrip blue.

Hello FPN friends

I work in the community and carry a scruffy backpack and a pencil case my girlfriend gave me everywhere I go. My pens are battered but even in the most challenging of urban environments I use my fountain pens. I have an old chrome Parker vector with a fine italic nib and it never lets me down. Ive got a bottle of ink in the side pocket of my backpack.

Thank you for your threads.
