Parker Sonnet Blue Ice with a fine stub. This nib writes finer than extra fine. I have found that this pen with this nib will keep the nib moist and writing day after day. The original medium nib dried up all the time. Bringing this pen out of storage..

Today I went to work with a nice but nibbled green marbled Vacumatic Junior with a very

nice nib marked-W- which with Pelikan black writes as a generous medium stub.

Delightful !

I've been using my Parker Premier Lacquered Black with medium nib almost every day at work since I bought it in early March and I'm still happy with how well it rights. It lays down a very smooth wet line and I mostly use Noodler's Zhivago at the office. The nib is on the stiff side which may annoy some, but I have a super light touch. I also like that the cap is only one half turn to come off, so if I have to cap and uncap it in a meeting, that's easy My only quibble, and it's something I thought I would like is that it's maybe a bit too heavy for extended writing. It's balanced well, but I've learned why people generally prefer lighter pens for extended writing sessions.

So far this morning it's been the Silver Pearl Vac Major, trying to use up the fill of diluted De Atramentis Tchaikowsky/Silver Grey. Diluted, the ink was pretty illegible on the yellow Rhodia paper pad, but it still seems to be okay on the white paper in the Miquelrius journal.

Parker 51 in Midnight Blue, fine to medium, Sheaffer's 1960s blue black ink. Picked up a brown Vac, but put it away. I can't like its soft fine nib. Almost used the Sonnet Blue Ice with the fine stub, but it is soft and springy. The 51 is the pen..

1948 Canada made cedar blue vac 51 with transitional (long arrow clip) gold filled cap. The Canadian cedar blue color is too deep campared to US/UK cedar blue color. Nib is a good blobby M. Inked with Scrip blue.
