An old 324 with an OB nib and corn poppy red, delightful :-)

You have good taste my friend. I love the 324 and the old b nib that mine has from the early 30s

Thank you siamackz :-) it may be a while before the 324 is eclipsed as my favourite daily use pen. It has a lovely weight and feel to it.

The first piston filler made by Montblanc. The color of the pen is lapis blue. The model number is 17 1/2. It has the number 5 nib and is inked with MB midnight blue. One of my favorite pens.

Pictures of my 17 1/2. The piston filler patent has been applied for by Montblanc but not yet issued. post-36205-0-77490600-1529866493.jpegpost-36205-0-27622700-1529866517.jpegpost-36205-0-10974500-1529866533.jpeg

Somehow I overlooked your post with the Russell quote about increasing interests with age.

Thank you for the handwriting sample, which is excellent.

At my age, what that quote suggests is especially apt.

Like Ghost Plane, I admire your Dickens OBB nib image. Nice.

Thanks Tom. I like the author better than the pen but still like it enough to keep two of them. Dickens in M was my first Montblanc that I plan to have ground to cursive italic this fall.

Spending some quality time at the cafe with St Exupery WE in B.B. nib that I inked recently.

Incredibly wet writer. Love it.

Your pen, nib, and handwriting images hit the target every time.

The BB nib is a pleasure to see. The very broad strokes are impressive.

May I please ask what ink is in the pen? It looks very nice.
