NOS Proust F that is not NOS anymore, inked with noodlers blue/black ink. The nib appears to show the slightest hint of skipping. Please see the c in cowardly. Any idea if heavy everyday use would potentially rectify this ?

Lovely pen, and that fine nib suits your handwriting well. I would use the pen for a few weeks before judging ink flow or skipping issues.

Took my modified 144 (has 145 nib section to use screw in converter) and my just arrived used 145 to work to show my boss. He is pen crazy too!!

When the 264 and other pens ran out of ink today, one of the replacements was a 121. Given it is 18k, no breather hole, winged nib, I was a little surprised to find a little touch of softness in the nib; not in the least is this flex, just a little give in the lower end of the nib tines which with a smooth ink flow lends a feel to the pen such that you are not distracted from your writing. The fact that physically it is also a shade wider than style leaders of the era such as the Hastil from Aurora and Classique from S T Dupont means again that the pen is that bit more comfortable for writing over time. An excellent pen.

The Proust is beautiful, except the nib, but the rest of the pen makes me look at my current collection and consider what’s next to go!
