Same as all the time, since 46 years ago. My one and only, trusty 149 w. 18C F nib. There are periods I clean and shelf it for a while, but it it’s been in use ever since.

🙂

Terrific image!

When you blessed with such an outstanding pen, you're set...for forty-six years, no less!

Very nice post. Thank you.

Thanks for your kind comment.

When I think back on my early high school days... I was just a kid having earned some money, and this pen was on sale. Well, I thought - let’s invest into something useful which would also last for a while.

I haven’t thought it would last this long.

Did it need service after some years?

Thanks for good wishes.

🙂

It’s fully functional. Soon I’ll probably fix few things. I’ll share it when done.

Superb design and execution.

Your work above is inspiring.

Thank you for showing what an older 147 Traveler may do.

Boheme (red stone) with MB Pop Pink. My excuse is that the sun is out (finally) and it’s a bank holiday! 😎

Trying to bond with my 146P EF. So far it's not working. I plan on using it extensively for 10 days or so. We'll see.

Add lightness and simplicate.

The one and only one MB146 F nib!

One of my favorite pens. I have an older one with a gold-tone fine nib; it was my exam pen in school.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Woow!  I cannot imagine to use a MB in school.  I could only afford this MB146 when I had been working and earning for 15 years.

I went to graduate school after I had practiced medicine for a few years; I had a lot more cash than I had as an undergraduate. I tried—and failed—with an inexpensive Parker cartidge fountain pen when I was at university.

As to which Montblanc I am using today, it is a Calligraphy 149 with MB Permanent Blue ink.
