Is that the 18K white gold and diamonds, limited to 380?

IIRC, it is the only pen with a 'sort of hooded nib' design. It is a nice effect since it is not entirely 'hooded'.

That's the one, a truly awesome pen in my opinion.

and with a stratospheric price tag to match. :D Truly limited at 380, even PoA pens number 888.

What nib did you get?

OTOH, I have reservations about the quantity of diamonds.

A solid and unique, bling pen. I prefer it to the skeleton.

Mine has a medium nib.

The diamonds actually don't really stand out when you see the pen in real life.

That is better although I doubt I will ever get to hold it. :(

Every time I use this pen I am reminded of how it is possibly the best pen ever made! This one has an OB nib with quite a lot of variation in line and wonderful ink flow. It also has the longer ink window. Just a privilege to own it :)

That's a magnificent nib indeed!

Today I hope to have the chance to ink up my new Agatha Christie that arrived this week.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

~ The yellow gold Classique EF nib has been in steady use this week.

It records vocabulary from century old books about East Africa, both Swahili terms and occasional archaic English.

Inked in Montblanc Homer Greek Blue, it's a reliable tool which suits my needs.

I've been using Greek Blue so much that another bottle was ordered today from the Montblanc China Web Store.

There's so much quiet satisfaction in writing for hours with a fountain pen which performs well.

~ Fairly heavy use of the 90th Anniversary 149 BB inked in Montblanc Swan Illusion.

Also, similar heavy use of the Monotone Yellow Gold 149 Bespoke Small Signature inked in Montblanc Heritage Web Grey.

They were used to record a steady stream of notes during two student oral examinations.

Both pens performed at optimal levels.

As its Christmas I am using my three favourite pens. The Wilde is my all time favourite design and shaped barrel but the nib is so plain; I need to find a BB or similar to add some life to it :-)
