I've had my149 with gold trim for a couple of weeks now and write with it everyday.

So far it's a thing of pure joy. For writing, fondling and just to look at.

Happy days!

14 with a glorious 18k fine nib, inked with Diamine Graphite. Beautiful.

Vintage. Cursive italic. Iron gall.

A 14 with Diamine Graphite sounds terrific.

That ink is a particular favorite of mine.

One of the finest pens MB ever made in terms of durability, design, consistency of performance, and value for money!

Montblanc 149, M nib from the late 80s, filled with the very last drops of Montblanc Leonardo "red chalk" ink that I have.

Montblanc 149, O3B, the 90 year anniversary edition, filled with Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-iro. Almost a big, bright paintbrush...

Colours are sadly not very accurate in this iPhone snap with mixed lighting.

I've been using this pair for the last week. (And absolutely loving it! :) ) It's by far the best writer I have, regardless of price!

In actual fact, it's the only pen that I would truly recommend! (Due to it's perfect combination of weight, balance and feel.)

Thank you so much for posting your work here.

It's a tribute to your talent and to Montblanc.

Seeing your work in FPN's Pen Art Gallery is a highlight.
