Tonight, a black Sheaffer Cadet w/ F1 nib inked with Take-sumi. I never used this pen past initial testing as a) the tines were slightly mis-aligned (just enough to make it scratchy) and B) the O-ring doesn't seal tightly so I have to remove the metal tube and manually squeeze the (intact) sac to fill it with ink. Some gentle pressure succeeded in getting the tines aligned enough to write fairly smoothly and filling the sac manually will do until I can send it off for a proper restoration as I won't use it all that often for now.

Last night was the 2 M300 EFs, with Kana-cho and Petrol; trying to decide if I want to move the Petrol to an M150 instead.

Parker 45 with Diamine Oxblood. I'm not in love, though. The nib's a little too fine for my taste.

My fingers are always inky and I'm always looking for something new.  Interested in trading?  Contact me!

Maybe not everyday, but I make frequent use of all these pens so I generally have them permanently inked up. I have certainly used all of them today!

Dollar 717i, F/M? nib with diluted Noodler's Brexit.

Noodler's Konrad, flex nib, with diluted Akkerman Trèves-Turquoise.

Lamy Safari, F nib, with diluted Platinum Classic Forest Green IG.

(Detecting a trend with the ink? ;) I was a bit lazy about flushing but am now trying to use up the ink in the pens and flush them out -- there's other pens/inks I want to put into rotation....)

Today I used two Parker 45's that dried up on me as I was writing.

In disgust I used my Justice League Infinity 888 Biro from Caran D'ache - which actualy gives a very nice violet/blue colour.

When I got home I used my MB William Shakespeare and moved the Parker permanten tblack cartridge from my '45 to my IM Premium in the hope that I would get better inkflow, but it was still a disater.

There are times when I just want to write, and not fiddle with the pen until it writes.

Today was a good day for biros, and not such a great day for FPs.
