Tonight, a black M150 with KWZ Maroon and the M250 Levenger tortoise with Diamine Macassar.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

A black M150 I just happened to have laying around - imagine that! - filled with the new Diamine Dark Forest that arrived yesterday.

Since it's the academic year and I can't bring expensive pens with me, I have a bunch of cheap pens inked up:

Workhorse Pen:

Sailor Young Profit Demonstrator MF nib. Ink: Pilot Iroshizuku Asa Gao

Agenda Color-Coding Pens:

Waterman Kultur Purple F nib. Ink: DeAtramentis Magenta Violet

Platinum Cool Pink F nib. Ink: Pilot Iroshizuku Yama Budo

Paul Pirre Orange F nib. Ink: Akkerman Oranje Boven

Wing Sheng Green F nib. Ink: Caran d'Ache Vibrant Green

"Because I wanted to, damn it" pen:

Diplomat Soft Touch F nib. Ink: J Herbin Poussiere de Lune

The only relatively high-end pen I have inked up these days is a Sailor 1911 with the 21K EF nib, Sailor Jentle Black ink, for kanji writing at home. I've pretty much settled on Sailor and Platinum as my kanji writing instruments.

I do have two recent purchases of a Sheaffer Intensity and a Sheaffer Sagaris that I want to test run, both F nibs, but that may have to wait. Obviously, I'm an F nib user. It makes no sense to use bigger nibs for the kind of writing I do most often, which is 95% academic, either note- or test-taking.

Also, one of my goals this semester is to use up as many of my samples and cartridges as I can before tapping into bottled ink. The samples and carts are really getting out of hand, at least by my standards.

Just got Stipula Paparazzi with fine nib.

Very small pen but posting the cap (there is a thread at the end of the barrel to secure cap) makes it a very comfortable pen. I don't have to worry about losing the cap while I sketch! lol

Broke into my top secret stealth pen collection today. Had to sneak past the guard (cat) and crack the lock to the vault (cat changed the combo). Was able to score the Omas Paragon noir, Omas Paragon Ludovico Einaudi (my favorite pen of all time), Montblanc Starwalker Extreme, and my new Montegrappa Fortuna cash in ruthenium. Suspect cat is calling in an air strike as we speak so I'm officially on the lamb.

Someday the mountain might get em but the law never will.........
