Pelikan M405 Anthracite Stresemann, B nib, with diluted Akkerman Dutch Masters Ruisdael Stormachtig Blauw.

Gotta get myself a full bottle of this ink! Even diluted it's an interesting color....

Let's see, what I am using so far today: Pink Pelikan M600, loaded with a mixture of Robert Oster Pinky and Diamine Maroon; it has a lovely stub nib ground by Mark Bacas. Also, an Aquamarine Pelikan M200 with a 14K M400 nib, ground to a stub by John Mottishaw, loaded with O.S. Aristotle. These are my two favorite pens. Third, a Clear Demonstrator Pelikan M200 with a 14K M400 nib which was very recently ground to a stub by Jessica (John Mottishaw's protege). I might add she did an excellent job on this pen! I got the card saying she worked on it, so I wasn't clear on the details, but you can tell she's John's student by the style of the stub. I absolutely love this pen! It's inked with Platinum Cassis Black. Fourth, a Red Demonstrator Pelikan M200 with a 14K M400 nib, ground to a stub by Dan Smith; also a lovely stub. Loaded with Robert Oster Clay Red.

Can you tell I love custom-ground stubs and Pelikans?

I am using two little pens that I restored today. A Swan (with a step chrome clip and flat cap top/barrel end) SM-1/57 with a wet noodle nib and a Bayard Le 4 De that has unexpectedly a full flex nib. Both the pens came in very good condition. Enjoying the nibs.

PS.

The Swan has a hard rubber lever.

Nice!

It seems like Stipula has really streamlined their lines. They don't really use gold nibs anymore. The oversized Etruria is a favorite of mine! I loved the old Celluloid Nitrate that they used to use. Yours is very nice. I have an oversized Etruria clear demonstrator with a 14kt rhodium plated 1.1 italic nib. One of my all time favorite Stipula pens.

:puddle: How does that nib write?

It writes very smoothly.

Mike Masuyama is an incredible nib meister:)

Dream, take one step at a time and achieve. :)

Sailor 1911 standard size with Diamine sapphire blue. Have been fortunate today since I lost this pen amongst my vegetables in my garden and recovered it again when I searched. I have been enjoying this pen, since I got it recently. Has the M nib writes just like a fine, just right for me.

A mix of my first pens and my latest. My first fountain pen purchase ever: the Esterbrook J with #9460 medium manifold nib in gorgeous dubonnet red. My "skunk" with a #9550 nib (back in rotation after many months); and my two most recently purchased pens: A clear TWSBI Eco in 1.1 stub, and another in turquoise with a fine nib.

After all this time I have to say my best writing pen is my first. That J has never let me down or blorped a single drop, has just the right amount of feedback, feels nice and warm in the hand, and is the only one I trust to go through carbonless forms at work when I would otherwise have to resort to a ballpoint.

Between my finger and my thumb

The squat pen rests.

I'll dig with it.
