Custom Fend 900 silver "Norma" naked lady floaty pen. Only one of its kind! Being a sentimental sort of chap I call her "Betsy". She's a keeper!

I remember seeing those in my younger years at some novelty stores. Good luck with finding them now! Nice catch brother! A piece of Americana!

Thanks! I had my pen repair guy splice together an old floaty pen from the 1970s with a 1950s Fend propelling pencil. He's a total pen wizard!

Tgoto,

What is that awesome blue ink you're using in the 149?

It is Parker Quink Blue Black :)

Working with a limited selection today (I meant to use more -- I need to pare down the "in rotation" stash again, and then it didn't happen).

Just two pens for me today:
Parker Vector (pink), F nib, with diluted Blackstone Barrister Blue -- for today's journal entry.

Noodler's Charlie, flex nib, with Noodler's Heart of Darkness -- paying bills and also some writing (fairly happy with the rough draft of a new poem, *and* managed to keep it within the 32 line parameter for this year's Writer's Digest Poetry contest).

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Wow... that broad nib makes it look exceptional.

Thanks for letting me know.

MB 149 and MT Swan 205/63.

Broad nibs and wet nibs. It's the way to go if you want to see those lovely inks at their best.

Great pens.

Tested the new clear Kakuno with EF nib. Best rendition of that pen so far. Also the funniest nib smiley of the line.

Apart from that, green marble cross townsend with m nib. Boring nib and a bit heavy for my taste but great balance uncapped.

Used two 1950s Aurora 88s today, one an 88P. Wonderful pens as they always are.

By the by, when we were signing the Certificate of Occupancy my wife did not have her ballpoint with her so I handed over my 88 with Aurora Black. She looked at it quizzically for a moment. "Is this your fountain pen?" she asked.

She may be catching on that the number is even greater than I had might have happened to mention most recently.
